How Boostra Payouts Work
As a creator on Boostra, your primary goal is to monetize your audience and successfully withdraw those earnings to your personal banking account. Boostra utilizes Stripe Connect to perform fast, regulated, and compliant payouts directly to your local bank.
Stripe Settlement Times
When a supporter sends you a tip via credit card, the money does not instantly materialize in Boostra's corporate bank accounts. The global card network (Visa, Mastercard) takes a standard period of time to clear the transaction and "settle" the funds so that they become liquid cash.
This means a tip will immediately reflect on your Boostra dashboard as Pending Amount. After approximately 5 to 7 days, Stripe considers the transaction settled against fraud and chargeback risks. At this point, the pending funds officially move to your Available Balance.
The Minimum Withdrawal Threshold
To prevent the disproportionate impact of bank transfer fees on micro-transactions, Boostra enforces a strict £20.00 minimum withdrawal threshold.
You cannot request a payout until your Available Balance (funds that have already cleared the 5-7 day Stripe settlement window) meets or exceeds £20.00.
Initiating a Payout
Once you cross the £20.00 threshold with available funds, the "Withdraw" button inside your creator dashboard becomes active.
- Click "Withdraw Available Funds" in your dashboard.
- The entirety of your available balance will be automatically bundled into a single payout.
- Stripe will securely process the transfer routing it to the bank account you designated during your Stripe Connect setup.
- The transfer typically arrives in your local bank account within 1 to 3 business days, depending on your financial institution.
